On April 10th, 2019, my class and I took a trip to three different types of advertising companies. We went to Peter Mayer advertising company, Pel Hughes Printing, and Gold Rush signs. Each company is in some way associated with the advertising agency, and each had very distinctive qualities as businesses. Peter Mayer was more design oriented than anything else. They worked with creating concept art, creating drafts leading toward a final product, and worked depending mostly on technology. Pel Hughes was strictly a printing company. They received jobs from clients and worked to print out whatever was provided to them. Gold Rush Signs was similar in that they did work for clients that come to them with designs. Each business was interesting in its own way and seeing how they operated differently from one another was interesting to say the least.
