August 23rd, 2018- Thursday was the first day for our design thinking activity. To start the day, we watched a video from IDEO, which is a product design company that that develops and refines products and product ideas as a team. They nearly perfected, or at least improved their own design thinking process. The video we watched helped to better educate each team member in design thinking. Once the video was complete, the team members in my class had to pair off with someone else. Once paired up, we interviewed each other to get an idea of our interests and personalities. Once this step was completed, we went on to draw basic versions of a logo meant for our partner matching their interests. These were steps displayed in the IDEO video that we were instructed to use to draft a logo fitting our partner.
August 24th, 2018- On Friday, I continued my drawing of my partner's logo. Once I finished on paper, I digitized my drawing and worked on the final draft using Adobe Illustrator. This was the final day of work on the project, and with more time, refinement, and experience, the final product could be much better, but for the time given and lack of experience, the result is not half bad.
