Five Logos in Five Minutes

On Wednesday, we started an activity titled 5 Logos in 5 Minutes. For this activity, we were given a brand name to design logos for. This brand name was "Ol' Salty Scoundrel" for a spearfishing country. We were timed and had 1 minute to make a logo and had to repeat this process. After this, we had to decide which logo was best. We would then go on to make a better, more refined version of this logo using Adobe Illustrator. My logo that I chose to improve on was a basic life ring with spearfishing harpoons coming in from the bottom left and bottom right forming an X in the center of the ring. This included a banner with the brand name, "Ol' Salty Scoundrel."
